5 Strong Healthy Hair Tips

Hey ya’ll!  Today I am going to share my tips for getting and keeping strong beautiful and healthy hair with Pantene Pro-V Ultimate 10 Shampoo and Conditioner.

Does your hair feel like straw?  Are you picking at split ends?  Winter can definitely take a toll on your hair.  The dry, cold air strips our hair of moisture leaving it feeling like a bale of hay.  I’d prefer to keep the hay in the barn!  If you are searching for soft, silky hair then follow these five easy healthy hair tips and you will be on your way to strong beautiful hair!

 

1. Haircut

Start with a great haircut.  Cut the split ends off and start with fresh ends.  If you have really long hair, you may need to cut 2-3” off.  If you have shorter hair a 1” trimmed off the bottom will probably do.

2. Shampoo Daily

While most shampoos only cleanse the surface of the hair, Pantene’s new shampoos actually penetrate into the core with nourishing lipids and antioxidants, replenishing hair’s lost moisture. Pantene Pro-V Ultimate 10 Shampoo is gentle enough for color-treated hair as well.  I was always told that I shouldn’t wash my hair daily and even though I worked out every day, I wouldn’t wash my hair daily.  Now, when I use Pantene’s new shampoos, I’m not afraid of washing my hair after each workout.

3. Condition Regularly

You don’t need an expensive, fancy schmancy deep conditioner.  After cleansing my hair daily, I use Pantene Pro-V’s Ultimate 10 Conditioner along the full length of my hair to help strengthen my hair. Then, twice a week for soft silky hair, I rub a bit of conditioner on the top of my head.  I wrap my hair into a bun and clip it using a claw clippy.  Then, I use one of those shower caps from a hotel and cover my hair.  I let the conditioner steam under the cap for about five minutes while I shave my legs.

4. Detangling Your Hair

Please! Stop raking through your hair like you rake the leaves in your yard.  I use a brush specifically for wet hair.  Take your time and brush gently.  This will prevent breakage in the middle of your hair. But before I do that, Pantene’s new shampoo formula allows me to detangle my hair in the shower, before even using conditioner – how cool!

5. Heat Styling

After getting out of the shower, if I have time, I let my hair air dry 80% of the way.  If I am in a rush, I dry my hair on medium heat to reduce the chance of split ends and breakage happening again.  As I styled my hair, it was more manageable, looked shinier and felt softer and smoother than before.
