This past week was CRAZY busy! It was my mom’s birthday, both of my best friends had birthdays and it was my niece’s birthday. On top of that my kids had school pictures and I had a hair appointment. Whew, is it nap time yet? I had so many errands to run but I hate looking like a shlump (it’s a word I’m sure) so I threw on this effortless fall shift dress. I think a shift dress is the easiest thing because it is one piece of clothing, no mixing or matching required and if it is a little chilly or rainy you can throw on a denim jacket or vest. My fringe tote has been a life saver and I just cleaned it out last night. The contents were disgusting! Both of my kids pretty much throw whatever they have into it as if it were a diaper bag. I had bought them these Scooby Doo graham crackers shaped like dog bones and Pierce could not get over the fact that they weren’t dog treats…so in the tote they went. When I finally found them, they were a mashed up, crumbled up mess all over the bottom. Thankfully I just had to turn the tote inside out, shake it and use a damp cloth to wipe it out.
I am also loving low heeled booties or Converse paired with a dress. I am not really one to run errands in four inch heels! These Converse are slip on so it makes them even better in my opinion. I like the light gray because they go with so much but are more forgiving than white.

Thanks Meredith! I have actually never worn the flat Toms but I do have a pair of the lace up wedges for fall/winter and they are so comfortable.
