Oh how I love a floral A line midi skirt. They cover most of your legs which is great for winter and spring if it is chilly. The midi skirt is feminine and gives a touch of that 50’s classic look. I got this skirt from Chicwish. This online boutique has beautiful skirts. They come pretty poufy so I normally take mine to the cleaner to be pressed before I wear it. They are made beautifully and this is my second one to purchase. I have another one that I will showcase in a Valentine’s Day post later. I linked some similar ones because some of the designs are sold out pretty quickly. Any design you pick will be beautiful and is easy to pair with a solid blouse. During my all girl’s cousins trip I found this adorable ruffle sleeve Kate Spade top. I love the quality and can’t wait to pair it with some fun shorts this summer. It is on sale right now and comes in black as well. My dark gray suede Nine West pumps are a classic pump. The heel isn’t too high and they are comfortable. Nine West pumps have been around forever. They are great for working women or a night out on the town. And of course my metal waist belt. If I could marry a belt it would be this one!!! It is just awesome and adds that finishing touch to any outfit. If you haven’t bought one, now is the time!

Did you all have a great weekend? My husband was out of town so the kids and I hung out and played all weekend. The weather has been chilly but nice. We went into town to Common Bond for some treats and then went to a park over in the Museum District. The kids wanted to go to the Natural History and Science Museum but it was so crowded. We normally try to go during the week when the whole city isn’t visiting. If you haven’t been yet and you are in or around Houston, check it out. Mine love the African Safari and Dinosaur exhibits. At the end we always have to visit the butterfly terrarium to see the hatching butterflies and watch them fly around us.
