Floral Maxi Dress with Pompom Details Under $100

I was sitting by the pool one day and my friend told me about this floral maxi dress and how it was her favorite maxi in all the land.  I checked this floral maxi dress out and completely agreed.  The fabric was light and airy, the colors were vibrant and fun and HELLO the ombre rainbow pompom detail had me clicking ADD TO CART.

Isn’t this one of the prettiest floral maxi dress you have seen!  Here in the south we have plenty of summer left so lightweight clothing that I can easily transition into fall when the nights get cool are a wardrobe staple for me. When fall rolls around it will be perfect with a denim jacket like this one.

Does anyone else judge everything they wear by what jacket they can layer over top?

This floral maxi dress does run large so I suggest sizing down.  I normally wear a small in dresses and went down to an XS in this.  It will need a strapless bra.  As always, I swear up and down by this strapless bra.

 

Here is a close up of the ombre rainbow pompom detailing.  If that doesn’t make you smile then I don’t know what will!  On the top half they did omit the pompoms from the armpit area so it does not rub funny on your arms.

One of my favorite accessory purchases from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale are these oversized QUAY sunnies. Did ya’ll know its pronounced KEY?  I was schooled in that today.  But then again I thought the words to the Bruno Mars song went Trips to Puerto Rico, Say the Word Enrico- well it’s “And We Go.”  They sound the same right?!?

Even though the Nordstrom sale is over these sunnies are still really affordable at $55.  For the fall/winter season I may just have to scoop up the black and silver pair!
