Happy Wednesday! Things are running a little slow around here today. We were without power for five hours yesterday and today our Keurig broke. We are really considering getting this Nespresso machine. Do any of you have a Nespresso? I’ve heard all amazing things about them and you can recycle the pods! Our woodworker stopped by to take measurements for the locker system we are having built in the laundry room. Since the doors on the existing cabinets were 12 years old and some type of cheap-o wood, we decided to have him make us three new cabinet doors to match the new ones on the locker. Will this remodel ever end?!?
The temps have officially dropped so I popped into Loft for the LOFT Sale -FRIENDS & FAMILY 40% OFF EVENT!!! I tried on a lot of different tops and sweaters, a few dresses and a couple pairs of pants. They had a LOT of great items so it was hard to only pick a few to bring home. I secretly wanted it all!

Striped Mock Layer Sweater– Wearing Small. I have been eyeballing this online and finally pulled the trigger on buying this! It would look adorable with blue or black denim and if you are 5’5 or shorter you could probably wear this with leggings.
Cowl Neck Long Sleeve Top– Wearing small. I bought this one because it was such a great top for mixing, matching and layering. It also comes in other colors if olive isn’t your color.
Leopard Puffer Vest: Wearing Small, could have done XS. Leopard is the hot ticket print of the season. This vest is adorable and I love that it isn’t too puffy. Some vests are so puffy you feel like a float at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade!
Dot Print Dress– Wearing 4. OBSESSED with this dress. Perfect length, perfect shape. The v-neck sealed the deal. You know I can’t resist a v-neck! It does have a tie so if you want more full coverage you can tie it. Here I dressed it up and dressed it down.
Denim Jacket– Not Loft, but my favorite!

Boots– Black Boots & Peep Toe Booties. True to Size and so chic!
Leopard Sweater– Size Small. I thought my store was sold out of this and as I was walking out I saw one on the return rack. I snagged it and bought it! I also got a front row parking spot so it must have been a good Karma day! This sweater is wool but soft. It would look adorable with this striped tee layered under it for some pattern mixing.
Striped Mixed Media Top– Wearing Small. This top was super adorable. Just look at that back! I also love that it had bell sleeves that weren’t obnoxious. There is nothing worse than a big old bell sleeve dragging through my queso!
Flecked Pocket Dress– Wearing 4. I really loved this dress. The material was soft and it was VERY comfortable. This dress would be perfect for work, dinner out, Holiday parties dressed up with some jewelry or add a jean jacket and a scarf for a casual layered look.
Black Split Neck Blouse– Wearing Small. I bought this top because I could wear it so many different ways. This top does have two small buttons at the top if you did want a more full coverage look across the chest. Pardon the dusty mirror. The top is solid black, not splotchy!
Corduroy Pants With Ankle Zippers– Wearing 4. Comes in curvy and modern fit as well as multiple colors. I typically don’t love corduroy pants because they are so stiff. Loft was smart and added some stretch to these so they were very comfy. The ankle zipper was a cute detail.
Draped Cardigan– Wearing Small- This cardigan was super soft and perfect for layering. I would have bought this but I have almost the same exact one from last season.
Leopard Skirt– Wearing 4. Okay this is the cutest thing since baby kittens. The fabric was very soft and comfortable. I love that you can dress this up with a heel or dress it down with a long sleeve tee and vest or denim jacket.
Floral Top– Wearing Small. I kind of passed this over online but when I saw it in person it was super cute and perfect for layering. It would also look really cute with this double layered necklace that is also part of the LOFT Sale and 40% off.
Faux Fur Vest- Wearing small but needed extra small. I suggest sizing down in this one.
Button Front High Waist Jeans– I LOVE Madewell jeans but they come with a price. These are the first button front high waist jeans that I can say are comparable to Madewell jeans!
Leopard Button Front Top– Wearing Small. I already have this leopard top so I didn’t buy this on from the LOFT Sale. It is a gorgeous top and fits perfectly. If you are in the market for a leopard top, this would be a great purchase.
White Swiss Dot Top– Wearing Small. I only bought this a few weeks ago and have already gotten so much use out of it. I also wore it for family pictures along with this skirt.
Kimono Sweater– If you love the layered look but don’t always love the bulk on your arms, this kimono top is perfect. I like that it isn’t constricting and looks great layered with just about any long sleeve top. My leopard flats are here.
Faux Leather Skirt– Wearing 4. Skirts are big this fall. I love them with flats, booties, tall boots and tights.
Striped Sweater– Wearing Small. This sweater was very cute and comfy. I liked the size and colors of the stripes.
Flecked Ribbed Sweater– Wearing Small. This was a very high quality sweater and would look great with black denim or leggings. It was not itchy and the neckline was not constricting.
LOFT SALE ITEMS
Nespresso is no comparison to Keurig. Make the switch and you will never have the urge to use a Keurig again. Toss it!
