The first day of fall came and went and it is still H-O-T outside and everyone is asking, “How do I dress for fall fashion in this heat?” Luckily Nordstrom came out with the most adorable off the shoulder dress that comes in four colors. Black, red, light blue gingham and black & white gingham.

So, every year we go to the pumpkin patch with our friends and all the kids. The first year we all wore fall outfits and it was a solid 85 outside. I’ll never forget, Pierce was seven months old wearing corduroy pants and a page boy hat. We almost died of heat inhalation. After that, I swore I’d wear light weight dress. The issue is, I always want a dress that feels like summer but looks like fall fashion. FINALLY, I found the most perfect dress for fall when it is still hot.
Gingham is one of my favorite prints for the fall fashion. It is the perfect pattern for mixing and matching with cardigans, jean jackets and statement jewelry.
This denim jacket is my new favorite. I also wore it with this life changing dress. Which, by the way, if you don’t have you NEED it ASAP. It is a tad oversized so I ordered the small. I love the lighter wash color so it contrasts with the darker colors I tend to wear during fall.
