Hi Ya’ll!  One of my closet must have staples is a pair of black dress pants.  They are so versatile and can be worn to almost any event.  If you need the perfect investment piece, make it a pair of truly great fitting pair of black dress pants.  These gorgeous pants from Trina Turk have the most gorgeous wide leg.  The crepe material is flowy and flattering.  I love that they come with a tie belt to accentuate the waist if you tuck your shirt in.  These black dress pants also have a side slit pocket so there are no gaping pocket ears when you stand.  Don’t you hate pocket ears? That’s what I call pockets that stick out like you have two ears on your hips! Pocket ears are NOT flattering!

Can you believe how pretty and vibrant this off the shoulder silk top is?  Trink Turk really outdid herself this season.  I always love the vivid colors and print mixing she uses in her collections.  For some of us, fall is still blistering hot.  Here in Texas, it is scorching but I love to add fall colors into my wardrobe.  This blouse would be perfect for after work drinks with these black dress pants.  Off the shoulder tops are still huge this fall.  They were such a huge hit this past season, so my guess is that they will make a comeback in spring/summer 2017.

And how could we not mention the elephant in the room.  THIS AH MA ZING leopard clutch.  Have you ever seen a more gorgeous clutch in all the land?  While shooting these pictures, I had three women yell out of their window from the stop light to ask me about this leopard clutch. Leopard is big every season.  It is the “fun” neutral.  Leopard is really an eye catching print and adds sophistication to any outfit.  I linked some of my favorite leopard finds for you below as well as a more affordable alternative to my leopard clutch.
